Abstract

Salmonella enterica est couramment mise en cause dans les maladies gastro-intestinales en Italie. S. Typhimurium représente environ 40 % des isolats, dont la plupart des souches appartiennent au type DT104. Nous décrivons ici les investigations menées lors de l’apparition de S. Typhimurium DT104A, un sous-type jamais observé auparavant en Italie, à Rome au cours du printemps 2004.
