Abstract

We investigated the treatments given and the outcome in a national cohort of culture-verified pulmonary tuberculosis cases in Finland. Our aim was to find out how adequate TB treatment was, and the outcome of treatment. Medical records of all culture-verified pulmonary tuberculosis cases in 1995 - 1996 were abstracted to assess treatment and outcome, using the European recommendations for outcome monitoring.
